All retirees holding VIC access cards can enter the VIC with their spouses or up to 5 guests without advance annoucement. Spouses and guests are required to go through the screening process while retirees holding VIC cards are not so required. Retirees are authorised to sign in their accompanying spouses or guests at Gate 1 Reception at any time.
Retirees only need to announce a visit in advance when:
- He/she wishes to bring in an accompanied visitor. In that case, the retiree announces the visit to the VIC Security Coordinator via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or calls ext. 5063 at least 24 hours in advance. The Name, Address and a valid photo ID (e.g passport, driver's license, residency permit) information are required for each visitor. All visitors are required to go through the screening process at Gate 1 Reception.
- His/her unaccompanied spouse has an appointment in the VIC: in that case, the VIC office setting up the appointment announces the visit to the VIC Security Coordinator at least 24 hours in advance.
ARICSA can arrange day passes for persons who wish to visit the ARICSA office but do not have a VIC access card. The requests can be done by telephone at 01-2600-25116 or via email to office at aricsa.org 48 hours prior to the planned visit.
